4 Stars Just what I ordered
This book was required for a class I’m in. It is old, but I was thrilled to get it so cheaply. No e-mail from company saying it had been shipped, but it did arrive quickly.

2 Stars small edition 12 and 12
the ad never said that this was the small hard cover edition of the book

5 Stars Thank you Bill
It’s amazing to me the amount of criticism this book generates. I would like to say to anyone seeking answers in AA keep seeking and don’t give up. There are many bitter souls who never obtain sobriety or are so adamant against spirituality that they would try to destroy anyone who is trying to better their life through a spiritual awakening and reliance on God. Do not listen to the scoffers. You will find your way to life and peace.

This book outlines the 12 steps of Alcoholics Anonymous and is nothing less than a philosophical tour de force of the AA way of life, how it works, and why it works. It is a wonderfully simple explanation of the alcoholic and the struggles he or she faces in this modern world. It is truly a gift. There are only a handful of books I have ever read that have changed me fundamentally to the core of my being and for the better, this is one of them.

There is a solution, there is a way out, best of wishes to all my fellow alcoholics.

3 Stars “Don’t judge a book by it’s cover!”
Although this was the correct book, the cover was not the one that appears online. What I wanted was the content, but I was little disappointed that the cover was not the same.

4 Stars GREAT BOOK
I HAD BAUGHT THIS BOOK FOR SOME OF MY EMPLOYEE’S HERE AT GLOBAL RESORT SERVICES WHO HAD SOME SUBSTANCE PROBLEMS, IT HELPED THEM OUT GREATLY

User Ratings and Reviews

5 Stars Great book!
This is a great book to keep track of my baby’s birth, gifts we received and special moments.

4 Stars Baby’s Book: The First Five Years (Personal Organizers)
This is a well designed traditional baby’s journal. I liked the layout and the presentation.

5 Stars Nice Baby Book
I received one of these books as a gift for when I had my daughter. The first year has a lot of pages which was appropriate because babies change so much in the first year! It tapers off as they start to grow but still tracks relevant milestones and events. I like that the medical records pages are grouped together so you can retain a reference page. What I like most is that this book is spiral bound and not hard bound which makes it easier to flip the pages and to add pictures. I liked it so much that I ordered it from Amazon this time for our next baby!

5 Stars Great Baby book
I bought both this book and the 2008 version and really prefer this one. I started making a baby book for the new baby and thought I had better get one organized for my 2 year old, hence the need for buying two books. This one is better because it actually has little pockets that you can store items in, like art work and other keepsakes you might want to hold on to and pass down to the child when they grow up. Both books are layed out similarly, and pretty much cover all of the basic info that you would want to keep track of and they are both pretty much presented in the same manner as well.

5 Stars Great Memory Book
We love the book so much it is our second one, exact same. The book is easy to use, read, and find information years down the road. Great book and great price.

The Wisdom of Wallace D. Wattles - Including: The Science of Getting Rich, The Science of Being Great & The Science of Being Well

The Wisdom of Wallace D. Wattles - Including: The Science of Getting Rich, The Science of Being Great & The Science of Being Well

The Wisdom of Wallace D. Wattles - Including: The Science of Getting Rich, The Science of Being Great & The Science of Being Well

The Science of Getting Rich

THIS book is pragmatical, not philosophical; a practical manual, not a treatise upon theories. It is intended for the men and women whose most pressing need is for money; who wish to get rich first, and philosophize afterward. It is for those who have, so far, found neither the time, the means, nor the opportunity to go deeply into the study of metaphysics, but who want results and who are willing to take the conclusions of science as a basis for action, without going into all the processes by which those conclusions were reached. It is expected that the reader will take the fundamental statements upon faith, just as he would take statements concerning a law of electrical action if they were promulgated by a Marconi or an Edison; and, taking the statements upon faith, that he will prove their truth by acting upon them without fear or hesitation. Every man or woman who does this will certainly get rich; for the science herein applied is an exact science, and failure is impossible. For the benefit, however, of those who wish to investigate philosophical theories and so secure a logical basis for faith, I will here cite certain authorities. The monistic theory of the universe the theory that One is All, and that All is One; That one Substance manifests itself as the seeming many elements of the material world -is of Hindu origin, and has been gradually winning its way into the thought of the western world for two hundred years. It is the foundation of all the Oriental philosophies, and of those of Descartes, Spinoza, Leibnitz, Schopenhauer, Hegel, and Emerson. The reader who would dig to the philosophical foundations of this is advised to read Hegel and Emerson for himself. In writing this book I have sacrificed all other considerations to plainness and simplicity of style, so that all might understand. The plan of action laid down therein was deduced from the conclusions of philosophy; it has been thoroughly tested, and bears the supreme test of practical experiment; it works. If you wish to know how the conclusions were arrived at, read the writings of the authors mentioned above; and if you wish to reap the fruits of their philosophies in actual practice, read this book and do exactly as it tells you to do.

The Science of Being Great

“… in Mr. Wattles’ book, “THE SCIENCE OF BEING GREAT”, you will get methods, plans, carefully outlined instruction, for the highest self-development and training for efficient living.”

&

The Science of Being Well

If you are well this book will tell you how to keep so. If you are seeking better health this book is for you. _

Each book builds upon the previous one to construct a complete, simple, practical, easy-to-understand, step-by-step system for getting rich, being healthy, and becoming successful.

5 Stars Getting Rich Could Not Be Easier: Wattles’ Wisdom is Ancient and Profound
“The Wisdom of Wallace D. Wattles - Including: The Science of Getting Rich, The Science of Being Great & The Science of Being Well” by Wallace D. Wattles presents a clear, concise and easy to follow plan to attain riches. Wattles draws upon ancient wisdom and gives readers simple, easy-to-read rules to attain riches and anything else you desire. The Laws of the Universe, he says, create your most heart-felt wants into material form and all that you desire by: Thinking, imagining, and impressing upon the Universe, the Mind Substance; The ALL; The ONE; and GOD. If you do this, you WILL manifest that which you richly deserve and desire. He reminds us that being rich helps us to be a light beacon for ALL people to further advance the human race. Wattles says we must think, speak, visualize that which we want with clarity, constancy and with the notion of creating increase for all God’s beloved children. He concedes that everything in the world IS perfect, only incomplete.

He also stresses Faith and the inner belief that you ARE receiving that which you have thought about and placed into the universal mind substance or, God’s Universe in an imaginative, ceaseless manner. He, importantly, stresses that we MUST be grateful for all that God is preparing for us NOW. That our thoughts become reality even before our eyes can perceive those manifestations.

I, as a long-time feature writer and writer of books, found this book to be a LIFE CHANGING read. I have applied his instructions, and have received money from out of the blue. Since I have Faith and Gratitude and no ill will toward any one, as Wattles asks his readers to do, it came to me as Wattles said it would! I expect more riches, more life, more increase because I read this life-changing book. Everyone should have a copy. But it today and Riches are not far away.

5 Stars The Science of Getting Rich
What a great book!! I have already read it cover to cover twice. There is a lot of information to contemplate within these three books. I am glad that I decided to purchase the combo book (containing all three books). I am truly looking forward to reading them over and over and over again and again. There is a wealth of information and ideas contained with these three books. The language is hard to understand at times, buy if you read slowly and thoroughly, you can break it down making it easier to understand and comprehend. These three books definitely require reading over and over again, not only to understand the philosophies but to refresh in your mind all the concepts contained within them. After reading these three books, I have a much clearer picture of what I really want and what I must do to achieve it. I have already ordered another series of books by Wallace Wattles and am looking forward to reading the concepts and information that are contained within them. Each Day a New Beginning: Daily Meditations for Women

Each Day a New Beginning: Daily Meditations for Women

User Ratings and Reviews

5 Stars Inspirational
Love this book….use it for a weekly women in recovery meeting…enables the women to share from the soul. I’ve had my copy since 1991.

4 Stars Each day a new beginning
Arrived very quiickly, and the packaging was amazing. The book arrived as described and will use this seller again.

5 Stars Inspirational
I got this copy as a gift for a friend because, as glancing through my copy, she felt she would enjoy it. Now we both love our copies. Personally I find the daily readings a great way to start and end my day. They are very comforting and inspriational.

5 Stars Outstanding
A++ I highly recommend doing business with this outstanding vendor. I couldn’t be more pleased with the incredible speed of delivery-a real stand-out. I was shocked to have gotten my item this quickly, just as pictured, even better than imagined. Thank you for your promptness and professionalism.

5 Stars This book made me feel less alone during a difficult time
I came across this book by accident. I found it on a friends bookshelf, she had been given the book as a gift and told me I could have it. The author wrote that this book is meant “to bridge the gap between you and your spirit” and that is exactly what it does. I set aside time every morning to read the daily quote and focus on the message. This morning I was reading it at a coffee shop and someone commented to me “that must be a good book beacuse you are really focused on it.” I just laughed to myself and said that it was a good book.

My morning meditation always puts me in a good, positive, can do mood. Then if I feel some negative energy comming on, I reverberate back to the book to help put myself at ease. It has really helped me make it through many tough days. I have been struggling with depression, weight issues and like the author struggled to believe in my “worth, capabilities and strength.” I have made alot of progress but I am not there yet. I have been doing alot of soul searching and “internal work” to the point that I am unrecognizable to my former self. The book has really helped to guide that process. Letting me know that this type of struggle is necessary in order to reach your full potential as a woman. I cannot recommend this book highly enough.

5 Stars Buy This And Give It to Teachers For Xmas!
What do you want it to say on your tombstone? A,B,C priorities. Get more accomplished by compartmentalizing your tasks. Write a letter to someone far away like a diary entry over several days! That is what I learned to do after reading this book. Leant out first copy, never got it back! Thanks Carmenza! Anyone wanting to increase their potential needs this book as a primer. Remember if I bought it here it was because it was a standout in my life!

5 Stars Learn how to get the most out of your 24 hour day.
The one thing that we all have but use differently is the 24 hour day. No one gets more than 24 hours in a day. The people in control are the people that know how to effectively manage the 24 hours in a day. No one can save time. We can only use time. The ones that use time wisely get more done and are more successful.

5 Stars Old School GTD
How to Get Control of Your Time and Your Life (Signet) is the spiritual ancestor of Getting Things Done: The Art of Stress-Free Productivity. This book discusses how to prioritize and process all the stuff that is keeping you bogged down and it keeps it fairly simple. I read it before GTD and it really jump started my thinking. Many of the ideas in this book are centered on how you might manage your time in the 80s, but regardless of the technology used, the concepts are still sound. Following this book up with GTD is a powerful 1-2 punch for anyone looking to improve their ability to determine the important things and accomplish them.

5 Stars All other time management books are footnotes to this one
This book is the best time management book ever written. All subsequent books are more or less ripoffs of this one. It sounds harsh, but this book is THAT good.

5 Stars Much Better than Getting Things Done
I have read a number of books on Time Management. This is one of the earliest but I still think it’s the best. Get your long term priorities straight, prioritize your daily To Do list and work it–simple and effective. I tried the Getting Things Done method and it was terribly cumbersome so I was surprised by the GTD recommendation in the 2 star reviews.
